The President's Award for Educational Excellence honors students who have earned an A- average or better during their three years of middle school. In addition, students must have scored at the 85th percentile or above in total reading or total math on the most recent standardized achievement test or earned special recognition in one or more core curricular areas while demonstrating creativity and leadership skills in the classroom, with cocurricular activities, or through community service. |
