Rocky Tucker, Executive Director

Executive Director

I’m so honored and excited to be stepping into the role of Executive Director. This work means more to me than I can truly put into words. My younger sister, Callie Marshall lived with Alström Syndrome and passed away in July of 2024 at the age of 28. For over 20 years, I’ve been connected to the ASI community—as a sibling, a volunteer, and now as a proud member of the ASI team. This community shaped me, and it’s because of my experience as Callie’s sister that I’m here today. She is, and always will be, my why.

My heart is with our families. I want you to know that I’m here for you. If you ever need support, someone to talk to, or simply to feel connected, please don’t hesitate to reach out. This role is personal, and I carry the responsibility with love and gratitude.

Supporting families is at the core of what we do, but I also care deeply about pushing research forward. Even though the advancements we make now won’t help my sister, Callie, they will help our Alström family—and that is worth everything to me. Your stories, your challenges, and your hopes are what drive me every single day.

Drop by Drop, We Make a Lake.

With gratitude,

Rocky Tucker, Executive Director
